How do I stop looking at women as sexual objects?

I recently broke up with my girlfriend a few months ago and one of the reasons she broke up with me is because we always had sex after our date or the date would just be hanging out then having sex and I don’t want my relationship with women to be that way. I’ve always looked at girls my age as opportunities to date and I don’t really know why. I’ve never really had a female friend that I didn’t see as a potential girlfriend and that’s a pretty toxic mindset to have towards women. Whenever a girl walks past me I have to practically fight the urge to not check her out and I hate that. It just outright dissapoints me when I reflect on my relationship with my ex-girlfriend because I don’t think I really did a whole lot to keep the relationship going and nearly every time we would meet we would just end up having sex even if we had something planned and I was always the one to initiate it. Of course me and my ex would have good times together and created memories but those were few and far between when we were in person. I wanna get better and I wanna stop looking at women as just something to have sex with and date. I just wanna have a friend who’s a girl who isn’t in a relationship and just have a comepletely platonic relationship with her.

Sorry for the long post and graphic details but I wanted to be upfront and honest about my problem.
