So, as the title reads, is there a way either via a third party app or within iOS itself to basically block certain apps after a certain time of day?
If you’re about to suggest adjusting the screen time settings, the reason I don’t want to use this is because as I am specifically wanting to stop doomscrolling at night time, it’s badly affecting my sleep and sadly, I’m addicted to this.
Please don’t suggest that I just learn discipline, because while inherently I agree with you, at the moment, I am addicted and have very minimal self control.
What I’d like to do is block these apps after say, 9pm, and then have them password protected (with the password being set by someone else, so I can’t guess it). Essentially locking me out of these apps, and giving me no control to get back in. That’s the only way I can do this.
I can’t put my phone in another room, I’ll just go get it.
I can’t set normal screen time limits (even with the logic specified above, as I’ll just not use them in the day so I have extra time at night)
Does anyone know of anything like this?
