I want to maintain a lifestyle where I actively workout everyday, go on dates, apply for international jobs(I have a local job) etc and do it effectively.

I had this mindset in the past but I was also consuming alot of self improvement material. The problem was that at some point I moved to completely consuming self improvement material/books and abandoned all action till I finished the book.

Previously I abandoned all self improvement material which was good but now I noticed that I am working on my goals just to "check mark" that I did it for the day. I apply to three random jobs just to say I did it for the day. I am not going to the gym towork out, I am working out at home just to "check mark" it for the day. Due to my job I mostly go into autopilot mode. And if I spend any time on my goals its jsut to check mark it for the day and its usually not bringing any results.

How to balance between the two extremes? Is therer any way to keep myself highly motivated to bring the results without wasting a lot of time on self improvement content?
