Husband and I live in NJ with two kids. We keep our finances pretty separate and have over 20 years. It’s the only way we don’t fight about money. I’m happy with our system.
But I have over 35k in credit card debt! I make 78k, but just hit the point where I can’t afford the minimums on them. Tried transferring to a 0 interest but it’s not nearly enough to transfer all the cards. We both have car payments, but are a little underwater on the loans so I don’t want to sell them. We pay about 1200/mo in childcare costs. $2100/mo mortgage. I’m a teacher, he’s a driver. Making about 140k combined and feel so broke! Idk what to do. Credit card minimums are at 1000/mo now.
