If God is real, and hell is eternal, then God either is not good enough, not powerful enough, or not intelligent enough to create a system in which those who go to hell are irredeemable.
I am told that you make a choice on whether you go to heaven or hell. Hell is not a punishment, it’s just the choice you made to disconnect from God. The problem is, if someone chooses to be with God after going to hell, then what would stop God from taking them from hell into heaven?
If God is all good, then there shouldn’t be a difference if they chose him after death or before death, God should want them up in heaven. If God is unable to do this, he is not all powerful. If he theoretically could but doesn’t know how, then he’s not all knowing.
If God is all good, knowing, and powerful, then there is no reason hell must be an eternal experience.
