If God exists and sends people to hell for not accepting him, he is evil. God has given us many points of evidence to disprove the bible. (Gonna focus on the time frame of everything, all the evidence pointing towards a universe over a million times longer than 6000 years, evolution, all that jazz.)
I present my first piece of evidence, Zircon dating, as a tool used by scientists to prove the age of the Earth.
Next, I present two pieces of evidence for evolution, as opposed to creation.
I’m giving the explanations and sources as science accepts it.
Now, let’s look at the creationist’s point of view. I’ll source this as my evidence for how old the Bible says the Earth is. About 6000 years old today.
If there is evidence that contradicts the history of the Bible, which I have just shown, it is at the very least understandable for someone to stop believing in the Christian God. Can you really blame people for losing faith when they see evidence that contradicts their beliefs?
In this sense, God isn't even willing to give leeway to these people. These people are being sent to hell for no good reason.
The only way out of this that I can see is to accept that the Bible maybe wasn't being literal in the time frames that add up to the 4000 year history leading up to Jesus coming.
Edit: Some people are being picky with how i added my sources to my post.
This is a research paper explaining genetic drift and how it impacts evolution, as opposed to creation.
This goes into depth on the causes of natural selection and its role in evolution.
This explains the dating method of Zircon dating that we have discovered for dating the age of the Earth.
