Jesus Christ is the all-powerful creator God of existence. Allowing that allegation to be questioned would leave doubt as to whether conservative Christian's God can really be all that powerful.

In Democracy, authority is derived from the consent of the governed. Conservative Christianity bases itself around one strongman and a few people from the ranks of conservative Christianity who don't join the rest of humanity in eternal sin, the wages of which is death. A more succinct modern phrasing of this principle is 'Thought crime is death.'

In Democracy, education programs are well-funded and wide-ranging in subject matter. The children will be tomorrow's educators, scientists, and leaders. Conservative Christianity has one already all-knowing sovereign and eternal father-figure. Jesus Christ is not raising children to be even better fathers in the future. This is anathema to the concept of God. To educate children to be better than the previous generation places Jesus Christ's omniscience and commandents into question.

Democracy encourages discussion and putting matters which affect people's lives to a vote. There can be no informed and self-governed populace in conservative Christianity. Jesus Christ is Judge and the only law that matters. To ever think differently is sin (crime).

Democracy ensures that people have access to tools like affordable healthcare. A well-supported population has time and other resources to think about and act on matters of government and dismantling corruption. Conservative Christianity affirms that only Jesus Christ can heal peoples' real problems if they will surrender all thought and control to that one leader.

Conservative Christianity would do well to focus their efforts on discouraging people from reading books like Machieveli's 'The Prince' and Orwell's '1984' lest the similarities to their policicies become quite well known to the USA's current and future generations.
