I think the true religion has been lost to time. We do not know the god(s) name(s) and none of the holy books or whatever it was remains. I think the true representation of religion with the best and truest God was only represent in prehistory. I believe this God or gods did create life and thus us, but has been gone for a long time and probably isn't coming or or going to be revealing themselves again because we are beyond repair as a people.

Archaeology has found evidence of practiced religion in every period of recorded human history. Even extending somewhat into prehistory. It follows that there were religions that we have no account of older than all human recording. I think the true religion was probably one of those
