I see alot of people saying that Nikita was a revisionist and a "traitor" because of de-Stalinization and his coexistence policy towards the west and I honestly don't get it. What exactly is so bad about him making public the things Stalin did that weren't great and transitioning away from the cult of personality that formed around him? Also what exactly is the proposed alternative to peace with the west? Nuclear war? That doesn't seem like it would lead to socialism it probably would just kill everyone. He still supported socialist movements and believed in eventual worldwide socialism.
