Basically what I am asking is this: let's assume China is Marxist like 100 percent no question. Does the fact that it's state keeps putting more and more restrictions on its people's ability to just live a fun life and its human rights abuses put a damper on that fact? For example China has the facial recognition AI and social credit system which seem like they infringe on personal rights to free movement and thought alot to me, and if it truely building a socialist system are these abuses worth it in the end? Basically I'm asking: China bad?

Edit: I am sorry if I used some words incorrectly. Also I am just a leftist trying to learn what others think I am not trying to take a side here.
