Is Capitalism Peacefully Transitioning towards
Post Body

This relates primarily to Western "developed" countries.

Many people here make the claim that capitalists are violently exploiting the proletariat. However, the number of sole proprietor companies are constantly making up a larger share of the US economy link. Furthermore, among both lib-left and lib-right groups, there is a strong push for ending institutions such as Intellectual Property and other historical forms of "ownership."

The result is that a new greater individual and communal access to capital is increasing who produces what, and how. Companies that favor the sharing economy are rising, and while this is still based around monetary transaction intrinsically is moving towards situations where groups of individuals are all invested in the "owning" a single mode of production. In fact, part of the sharing economy is making people feel vested in each other.

While much of this can be seen as "hyper capitalism," inversely it can be seen as a gradual transition where money, and even non-money transactions have created a vested network of individuals who are all stakeholders in each others lives and production.

Do people feel like further extending many of these new areas only reinforces, or undermines, traditional capitalist-proletariat class systems?
