Do you personally feel that everyone should have a say in politics even if they are completely uneducated and may even be misinformed?

Post Body

I was looking back at Plato's republic and the idea of the philosopher King and how the leaders in society need to be educated not just doing what the masses want. I think I agree to some degree but I wanted to hear your opinions.

Edit: thank you for your responses, I feel very ill so I probably won't respond to each of your comments but I found your responses interesting. I also may have worded myself poorly. I meant should people be able to be in a position of power if they are completely ignorant, not to vote or participate at all. For example Joe Shmoe that finished high school and then worked in a shop since then vs Dragonslayer Hchugecock that has a doctorate in politics, history, and or philosophy being allowed to join the party and run for office.
