How can a Christian justify amassing wealth?
Post Body
"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." - Matthew 19:24
I'm an atheist but I'm not attacking all Christianity, only those who consider the accumulation of wealth justifiable (which is probably a reasonable number of you). It seems to me that a true belief in Christ would entail at least sticking to one's means (shunning luxury) or even anti-capitalism (as represented by figures such as Leo Tolstoy).
