And this guy, who caught me somehow, I don't know how he did it, but he wanted to sell me on the uh, dark spiderweb? Dark web that's what it's called! Gosh you humans are so weird, why sell me to a spider? Spiders don't eat fairies, if anything we're the ones who eat them occasionally!

Anyway I was able to escape when I told him I needed fresh air or I'd die, little did he know I can stun humans momentarily, just enough time to escape.

If you think men are the crazy ones, wait 'til you hear about the women.

I don't know who started the rumor, but us fairies, don't do favors, especially if you offered things expecting it in return.

​

I mean, it's been around for a very long time, of course if there are offerings we'd take them, back in the day people are just happy to leave things out for us.

​

The last few years however, it's a completely different story.

​

There was a huge surge of offerings popping up, but the vibe has been incredibly off.

​

I should've been more careful when I ate cake crumbs and milk off the window sill of this lady, somehow she was able to track the exact moment of me being there and trapped me! What is with you humans are your obsession with jars?! Ugh!

​

She wouldn't let me go unless I put a hex on her enemy, silly human why would I want to do anything to someone I've never even met?

​

She threatened to burn me with a, what do you call those things, a magpie? No? A magnifying glass, that's it, under the sun, mind you it was the middle of the night, what is with you humans? It seems that the more I age the more stupid you lot get, no offence.

*sigh*

Anyway, I told her I'll only help her if she brought me more offerings.

As soon as she opened the jar I headbutted her right on the chin and broke through the window, didn't care for stunning at the time, I've had enough.

Yes they were all fully grown humans.

Oh my... children can't seem to see me anymore, only deranged, money hungry, favor demanding adults these days.

I still remember how fun it was to play with children many, many years ago.

I made the best flower crowns mind you, and their parents often wondered how they managed to be so well behaved and spent pleasant afternoons playing safely in their gardens, all by themselves. It was a different time you know, my abilities were stronger, I chased off foxes, wolves, even bears you know, when they got too close for comfort.

Oh as soon as they could learn to talk in complete sentences, it seems the abilities just fade with them over time.

Such a shame really, I always remembered them, I don't know if they even remember me, even just a little bit.
