I hated Dishonored - should I check out deathloop?

Mainly dishonored was TOO much stealthing, and im a dagger rogue in elder scrolls/assassins creed type of guy.
I also didn’t like how the game basically punished you for killing people instead of knocking out — more rats and more difficulty.
I was really interested in story but could not force myself Through gameplay for it
I DO love Prey though — it’s just hard as hell.
