For my money it’s Nate Johnson (Fit for an Autopsy and Through the Eyes of the Dead) and Matt Janssen (In The Midst of Lions). I fucking miss both of those dudes, and it seems they have no real interest in making music anymore. But hey, Ricky Hoover came back after years of saying he never would, so anything’s possible.
