How much of a sausage fest is the deathcore scene actually?

As a woman, I’ve always heard people complaining about how deathcore has barely any women, and it seemed pretty believable. But recently I heard someone say that in earlier deathcore, like in the suicide silence days, the majority of fans were actually women? This led me to wonder, just how much of the scene is actually men vs women? I never been to any shows so I have zero clue. Is it really that rare to find female fans?

A lot of women don't go to metal (or other genre) shows alone, so it's more like when we have a partner it means we have the safety of a show buddy and therefore can go to more shows!
