I bought death stranding for the ps4 about 6 months after it’s release. I played about 45 mins of it before selling it back because I couldn’t stand the Kojima factor to it. Wordy, weird, and I couldn’t just understand the story. Fast forward five years later. I’m 31 now. Don’t play video games a lot anymore because I find myself bored of the average AAA title. I like more story driven single player experiences. I see that the directors cut is available through psn extra so I download it. And WOW, I’m just at the beginning of chapter 2 and I am loving this game. I’m paying more attention to the story and lore so I’m able to be fully invested in the game. Will check in after every two chapters or so. I work during the week so these post may drag out in between but yeah. This game is amazing. And hopefully I can beat the game and get right into DS2 when it drops!!
