Death Stranding has support for a multitude of upscaling options, including nvidia's DLSS. DS also only has support for two types of anti-aliasing; FXAA (not good) and TAA, which is better but unfortunately doesn't work that well in DS.
There's a solution, though. You can use a mod, DLSStweaks, to force DLSS to just not upscale. It essentially creates a very good and performant way to make the game look better. In other games, this is called DLAA (deep learning anti-aliasing), and it looks fantastic.
The mod is super easy to install. You just dump it into the game folder, click the "EnableNvidiaSigOverride" file, then enable it from TweaksConfig.exe. You then go into DS and change DLSS to quality mode. Bam, you have DLAA!
Edit: also worth upgrading your DLSS version. The stock one has a lot of ghosting, I run 2.5.1 and it looks great.
