Over the past few months of playing Deadlock, I’ve really enjoyed the game—it’s given me a whole new perspective on the MOBA genre. I came from playing DOTA, and unfortunately, my "passion" (or toxicity) for that game has carried over to Deadlock. Recently, I experienced something physically that made me realize how my extreme "passion" for the game is affecting both my physical and mental health. If I don’t make some changes, something more serious could happen.
I tend to blame myself for bad plays and even punish myself physically, and I’m really not happy with this behavior. I genuinely want to change, so I’m reaching out to the community for advice on how to stop being so toxic and to avoid hurting myself over gameplay.
