I wanna start by saying I don’t hate dead space 3. As a stand alone game I think it’s actually in the realm of good. A real solid 6-7/10. And I really like some of the ideas it has. But wow it’s bad when you compare it to the other 2.

So in a world where the next project is a remake of 2. Would you want them to touch 3? I feel like if they did they would have to redo a lot of it. I know they made changes to 1 but 3 almost needs a total rewrite with how bad some of its characters and pacing is. The weapon system while an interesting idea would need an overhaul. And others I’m sure I’m forgetting.

What is everyone else’s thoughts? It would be nice to get the whole trilogy up to the remakes new standard. But I feel like remake 2 opens the rabbit hole of a 3 remake.
