Tbh I don't even want to continue finishing the side missions. I'm honestly really disappointed with how this game ended. It's incomplete. The "final boss" was just another apex mob. That's so anticlimactic it's not even nearly as funny as some of the mediocre humor in this game.

Ever since the original Dying Light came out, I can't help but compare every similar game to that. I didn't play the original Dead Island, I tried after Dying Light, but Dying Light was just so much better, both mechanically and graphically. Dying Light 2 was a joke compared to the original. I didn't even bother finishing it. I stopped playing Dead Island 2 not long after reaching Beverly Hills because it was just such a boring slog. I really got tired of how the game deliberately forces you to go back and forth to unlock chests and lockboxes in previous areas for mostly mediocre loot, unless it's tied to a side quest, then you might get a named item. I didn't even finish unlocking all of the mods, perks or skill cards before I beat the game. I got tired of constantly doing side quests for junk (Especially the Body Art quests...) ugh...

But to be that short of a game, with more side content than main story, only to end it on a total cliffhanger.... They give us 3 characters potential enemies (the other Numens) that would be the 3 big bosses of the game and instead, after we kill Reed, they just walk off into the sunset and then it simply cuts to the end credits......??? What in the actual fuck???

Seriously? That's it? They want us to wait another 2-3 years and pay ANOTHER $70 for a 3rd game just to (maybe) finish the story? Maybe we get a DLC story about finding Tisha? This is pathetic.

I'm so fucking disappointed in Deep Silver and many of the current reigning "AAA" publishers and Devs who make games like this just to grab more money by making incomplete games. This has become such a common thing now. It's a despicable practice and it makes me tired of paying full price for any AAA titles. No other game has pissed me off quite so much since Anthem was canned by EA.
