Had an incredible sex dream last night and woke up at 5am with a hard on like you wouldn’t believe. I knew that if I stayed in bed I’d just lie there tossing and turning, wanting so badly to wake her up and make some use of the situation, but partly because she’s been so tired lately and partly because I knew I’d get turned down regardless, I got up and went about my day. Still, we’ve been talking about sex a lot more lately, I’ll try my luck. Text her that I had a really hot dream about her and that’s why I had to get up at 5, so I’d let her sleep instead of waking her up.

Stone cold silence. She’s been awake, we’ve spoken, my message was read, and promptly ignored. She will tell me in great detail about a dream she had where her and a coworker were having an affair, but if I even broach the topic of me being so turned on by her I have to leave the bed, well that’s just not allowed.

Then a song came on her TikTok about a woman who gets a vibrator for Christmas, and she gets so obsessed with it that her husband leaves her because he’s completely without love from her (framed as a comedy of course). She tells me to listen to it, listen how funny it is. I replied with “I don’t really feel like laughing about my own situation thanks.” She didn’t like that, and has now left me alone to get dressed and ready for the day herself.

More fool me for thinking that is having some sincere and meaningful conversations about our sex life over the past week would have done anything to change her opinion of sex with me.
