I’ve been married for over 20 years to a wonderful man, but for the last seven, our marriage has been completely sexless. Recently, my husband admitted he’s no longer interested in sex at all—something I respect, even though I feel differently. I’m in my 50s, active, and unapologetically in touch with my needs, including my love for sex. After years of struggling to reconcile my desires with his disinterest, our therapist suggested exploring ethical non-monogamy. My husband isn’t interested in anyone else but has given me his blessing to explore this path. It’s a huge shift in how I view marriage, love, and intimacy, but I’m cautiously optimistic. Has anyone else navigated this?
