I made a post a while ago about my (30HLM) partner (31LLF) preferring a puzzle to me. We rent a place together and she has two kids who we have every other weekend just because their dad has a bigger place than us.

We’ve had several conversations over the last year and a half about our lack of intimacy and each time she promises that things will change and that she’ll do better.

Back in August she finally made an appointment to see her doctor. She takes antidepressants and her doctor gave her tablets to counteract the side effects and hope that her libido comes back. It took her a week to pick up said tablets then another week or two before she started actually taking them.

Fast forward to two weekends ago. We had a weekend where it was just us, I asked her if she wanted to be intimate as we won’t have a chance the next three weekends for various reasons. Not to my surprise, it was a no. That weekend for some reason she put a prescription in for birth control. A couple of days later we had another conversation about how different things are now to when we first started dating. Of course I get her telling me that she’s sorry and that she will try harder.

The birth control took a week for her to pick up, it’s been sitting on the island in our kitchen for another week now unopened and I’m very tempted to just throw it in the trash. We had a rare morning Saturday where the kids ended up being with their dad. I asked again if she wanted to do anything and she said no and that ‘she was trying’.

I’m so done. The lease ends in February and if there is no improvement then I’m gone. I’m just a roommate and a babysitter at this point. So far this year it’s been sex twice and one blowjob and we’re in December

EDIT. I forgot to say that the tablets she has to counteract her antidepressants, she admitted Saturday morning that she doesn’t take them as much as she should. I know she hasn’t been taking them at all because they haven’t moved on our bathroom counter
