Suggestion from wife last night, perhaps we can get a sofa bed for the study, so we can then sleep in separate rooms.
Both 46, we have been dead bedroom for almost 4 years since when she suggested we will separate, but decided she doesn't want to fully separate. We have two kids, my wife wants to go on holiday but won't talk to me, so she has resorted to asking our kids to ask me where we are going on holiday
I have coped over the past 4 years by working away more, and doing what I want more. I think it's fast approaching the time to talk about having an open marriage, another partner.
I’m not sure why you’d stay in the marriage at all, honestly. Your kids are seeing this as the example of what marriage looks like and that’s not healthy.

Behavior is a language - and she’s making decisions that are putting distance and literally wall barriers between you two, tho.
If I woke up in your shoes I’d be telling my spouse that we have to move in a direction…either towards progress or towards an exit.
