So, here's the deal. The other night, I tried to initiate sex with my wife like I’ve done countless times before. She barely looked up from her phone, just mumbled “not tonight” without even making eye contact. I’ve been trying to talk to her about it, but every time I do, she changes the subject or says she’s too tired or busy with work. It’s like I don’t even exist in that way anymore. She’ll get all dressed up for dinner with friends in LA, but when I try to do something intimate, it’s like I’m invisible.
I don’t get it. I’m not asking for much, just some attention, maybe a little fun. But no matter what I do, it’s like I’m the last thing on her mind. She’ll spend hours on the couch watching TV, while I’m over here feeling completely ignored. It’s frustrating as hell, and I don’t know how to make her see I need something more. Anyone been through this? How do you handle being treated like you’re not even there?
