I initiated tonight, it’s been quite a while but things seemed to be aligning and she seemed to be in the mood. Long story short, we ended up getting into an argument about it all. The crux of it is she “she doesn’t feel sexy” and that I’m only “wanting to have sex with her because she’s there, I would do it with anybody cos I’m desperate”, etc.

Now first of all, I genuinely am still attracted to her after all these years. But she won’t listen, she thinks I’m just saying it.

It’s something I’ve noticed in recent years. Her physical confidence in herself has dropped a lot. She has gained some weight and she never exercises, so i thought this might happen. It’s a very sensitive topic and I cannot dare to be the one to mention exercise so I just don’t - it’s up to her.

Mostly venting her. I’ve tried to be nice and compliment her and sure I’m not perfect, could probably be doing it more. But I know deep down this is an issue she has to work through, until then it’s flatline in the bedroom. Sigh.
