Mostly just a vent but also curious to know where those in a similar situation tend to draw the line. We have been completely sexless for 6 years and the deadbedroom has existed in some form for most of our marriage of almost 15 years.
I have not cheated and will not cheat. But over the years part of my way of coping and getting reassurance has been to chat with anonymous people online. It has become my way of feeling like I still would be desired by someone even if my wife doesn't currently have that desire. At times I feel guilty but that guilt is easier to manage than the feelings on insecurity that comes with all the rejection and lack of interest.
