Wife and I went through a very rough patch for years with births, deaths, long work trips, moving to a new state, undiagnosed depression (both of us at times), and almost losing my job. All in a span of 5 years. While the bedroom was never fully dead, it wasn't quite alive either. Wife had gotten to the point that when I touched her at all, she tensed up. The fighting had gotten so bad we were almost ready to call it quits.
We both decided that we still loved one another and spent the last 12 months actively working on improving our relationship together. It was a lot of work. We both had to change. But I can say that things are 1000 times better now.
For everyone here there's hope. The solutions will be different for everyone's unique situation. Don't give up.
