Throwaway account but 40 HLM married for 12 years and pretty much in dead room for the last 8. couple times a year max at this point It took a turn for the worse when we started to try and have kids and figured out a thyroid issue was causing her to have PCOS. Long story short the treatment is a blessing as her health is better and we successfully had 2 children but her libido was never the same. I felt selfish asking and after years and years of rejection I am just done. Maybe it’s the classic post marriage and young kids rut but with a dead bedroom and literally 0 affection it wears a man down. I am still so attracted to her but for some reason I like don’t even want it anymore. No matter what it will seem like maintenance sex. Idk. Hope others are starting the new year better than I have.
