How should I approach this situation?

Context: me (32F)widowed have caught some feelings for a (33M) married.
My understanding is that he is happily married minus the dead-bedroom situation. I don’t want to change his situation unless he wants to change it however I do have strong feelings for him.
Do I end this strictly because it is cheating? We are really good friends and I don’t want to lose the friendship if anything.
Please give me advice I can actually use rather than “he’s married and you are scum”.
