My (34/m) wife (32/f) and I haven’t touched each other since 2022. We do have a 3 year old so maybe that’s why? I wish we would have sex atleast twice a month, but actually would love once a week if I’m being honest with myself. Our average for the past 5-6 years has been less than once a month.

For me, it’s about emotional connection. When we go through dry times I feel so emotionally disconnected from her and become depressed. I try not to let it bother me and I adapt and carry on with life. But deep down it just hurts so much.

We’ve been married going on 8 years and I’ve had the talk and expressed my concerns and needs many times in respectful ways. But I can’t blame her when she just doesn’t have it in her.

But here we are, she is wanting a second child keeps telling me she wants to get pregnant by a certain date, etc lol I’m not so sure she understands how the whole conceiving a child thing works still even after we had 1 child. Makes me sad.
