In my individual therapy I realized that because my sexual nature, beliefs, values, freedom, liberation, vibe, confidence, and desires are all part of my identity, of how I see myself, when that side has been neglected and ignored for so many many years, it hurts that much deeper. I need words of affirmation and physical touch -70 percent of my love language too. So WHO I am has been unseen, HOW I express myself has been neglected by him, and a large portion HOW I feel loved has been absent. Is it any wonder I’m numb?
Anyone else feel that sex isn’t just something you do, it’s part of someone you ARE?
