For people interested in making fan comics that fit within The Cogās canon, this is a guide that will lay out some of the basic concepts that make up a Cogā episode.
CHARACTER/COMIC TROPES:
Wex:
Doesnāt take his job as a stormtrooper incredibly seriously. Heās a bit more experienced than Doric and has learned how to dodge responsibility. Rather than focusing on his current situation in the trench, he tends to get into random hobbies but quickly gets burned out on them.
Doric:
Excited about being a stormtrooper. He only recently finished training and has a more glorified view of stormtrooper life. He cares about following the rules and looks up to authority.
Garm:
The most enthusiastic of the bunch. Heās a flame trooper who just loves his flame thrower. He tries to grab every opportunity to use his flame thrower but is unfortunately never able to. He is likeable and makes friends easily. He lights up the room whenever he enters (hopefully not literally).
Ration Droid:
Has the personality of a tired retail worker. Has to be polite to the ācustomersā, but is dead inside. Prone to sarcasm.
Rations:
The only thing to eat around this damn trench.
RULES FOR STAYING WITHIN CANON:
Recognizable characters from canon canāt show up. (Examples: Thrawn, Vader, etc.)
Main Character deaths are off limits
Changing the status quo is off limits (Example: letting Garm use his flamethrower)
All of these rules can be disregarded if you donāt intend to have your comic set within the Day Troopinā canon. Be creative!
(This will be edited as more characters are introduced in the canon comics)
