Seeking Fellow Day Traders for Learning and Growth

Post Body

Hey everyone,

I'm relatively new to day trading but completely captivated by it. I recently started dabbling in the markets every morning during my free time (I work nights), and I've been experiencing both wins and losses along the way. While it's been an exciting journey so far, I find myself lacking a clear direction or specific strategy to follow.

About Me:

  • I've been trading for just a few weeks now.
  • As I work nights, my mornings are free, allowing me to dedicate time to day trading.
  • I've been experimenting with different trades and learning as I go, but I'm still finding my footing in the world of day trading.

What I'm Looking For:

  • I'm eager to meet fellow day traders who are also looking to learn and grow in this field.
  • I'm interested in forming connections with individuals who are at a similar stage in their trading journey or who are experienced traders willing to offer guidance and mentorship.
  • I'm looking to develop a solid understanding of day trading strategies and techniques and would love to connect with others who share this interest.

Topics for Discussion:

  • I'm particularly interested in discussing trading strategies, risk management techniques, and the psychology of trading.
  • Whether you're a seasoned trader or just starting out like me, I'm keen to hear about your experiences, successes, and challenges.

My current strategy and questions I'm asking myself daily

  • I look for breaking news the morning of
  • I look for stocks in the price range of $3-$15
  • Volume range: 500k - 2Mil
  • I look for stocks that have increased by 10% in the premarket
  • I look for stocks with high relative volume

I normally decide on which stock im going to trade before the market opens, usually the stock moves well and has a lot of volatility. So now, what do I do with it? Do I buy right at the open? Do I wait for a pullback? Do I try and trade the trends during the first few hours? How do people clearly see a potential 2:1 PL ratio?

As you can see, I have tons of questions and I'd love to pick your brain.

Thanks for reading!
