Tharzuz was a powerful being that constantly was surrounded by an aura of chaotic energy that takes significant effort to control. A being of such pure energy leads to outbursts and dangerous side effects if left unchecked, something the mortal world would come to realize. But for now, Tharzuz would find the more he expended his energy utilizing his chaotic energy the more tired he became, and the more difficult it was to control it. The long slumbers he would take after these powerful outbursts of power would slowly become a cycle as he would use his power to change and effect the world before being forced to recover his energy to avoid terrible side effects. These times of low and high energy from Tharzuz would also slowly turn to effect the world directly, more specifically with nature itself. During the periods of time where Tharzuz slept it would survive and simply maintain its course of action. But when Tharzuz would awake, nature itself would seem to burst into action and those that felt a connection to the natural world itself would feel the world 'wake up' as well. These times would see the predators of the world become more aggressive and its prey more alert. The plants themselves would appear to grow at a faster rate and compete for the limited resources.
