L'zthnyl had been frustrated with Eya's continual defeating of his initiatives, and realized if he wanted to do anything he'd have to do something that didn't require his own presence. And, perfectly enough, he had just the thing.

Deep within his cave, chained to the walls, were creatures known as the Titans, huge abominations the size of mountains that desired nothing but destruction. They had been prepared for a crisis situation, one in which creatures of such vile nature would be needed, and such an event seemed to arise to L'zthnyl. He removed them from their chains and released them in the land of Amovia and put their sights on the World Tree, and more importantly, Eya's home. They would create a wake of destruction along the way, being slow creatures due to their size. The people of Amovia would wonder at such horrendous and powerful creatures, and soon the specter of the Titans would become a powerful figure of their mythology, acting as the horrid creatures of the deep underworld that served the more chaotic gods.
