L'zthnyl was one who truly loved what he did. What does he do, you may ask? Well, that's the beautiful part. L'zthnyl does whatever he wishes to do, and that almost always has to do with mortals. After all, what else is there to do? Because L'zthnyl is always doing things, thinking things, and creating things, he often has so much going on that he can get jumbled up. And that's how this story begins.
L'zthnyl would often spend time learning and trying to understand this new world, and that often came with journeying through the world that the deities had created. With L'zthnyl was a book, one made from the flayed skin of some beast within his cave, where he would put down his thoughts before they were overtaken by another as they always would. However, as time went on, L'zthnyl would seemingly lose pages as he traveled when his mind wandered off to far away places. Or so the story went. These pages, as they were magically bonded to be kept secret, were very difficult to find and took an extensive understanding of the arcane arts to read, but those with the time and skill would be able to decipher the reading. No mortal had seen one of the pages however, and no one truly knew what it would take to understand them, much less to find them in the first place or if they even existed.
Unbeknownst to the mortals of the world, L'zthnyl does not make mistakes. As always, his influence could be seen in the corners of the world, and those who took the time to understand the ways of the god would come to realize it as time went on....
