The Nak'avalee
Post Body

The taiga and forests to the south of the Rotbog were home to many animals and the minotaur, but L'zthnyl was not pleased just yet with the land. He set to work on yet another creation, one that would be glorious and beautiful, yet terrifying. He soon found what he wished to do, and what would come of it would be come to be known as the Nak'avalee.

They were wolves that appeared to have been skinned, leaving their hairless skin on themselves with their eyes bulging and their bright white teeth extra obvious. On their back was a man's torso with two long arms with claws. The important organs of such an animal were in the head of the wolf, not the man, which allowed the man's arms to protect it from any who would attempt to kill such a creature. These creatures would live in groups and hunt together, often eating large animals such as elk and caribou. It's flesh was poisonous, which would be painfully obvious should one ever see it as under the red skin would be its diseased flesh and body.

These creatures would serve the purpose of hunting down the larger herbivores. They were not apex predators however, as creatures like the minotaur would be able to kill any that would attempt to scavenge their own kills. The Nak'avalee were also not known to live long, for their diseased bodies would decompose after a few years of use. For this reason, they would grow up very quickly after birth and reproduce often.
