RP: Continuing from my exploration this week...

After spotting the unidentified settlement on the horizon, Grasto Argius-son as his team rowed southwards with renewed vigour. After an hour or so of hard rowing, and just as the sun had ceded its dominion over the sky to the two moons, the flotilla of four Tedeshan boats sailed up to the settlements shoreline. The men could, to their astonishment and joy, see croplands surrounding the village, and a small tributary river running through them. Clearly these were civilized folk, with knowledge and goods to share. And hopefully some fresh water, food, and lodgings for the night, as well.

Grasto ordered his men to beach their boats a few metres away from the village, and then instructed his men to stay put. Grasto himself walked, cautiously and without bearing arms, towards the adobe houses of the village. History was truly being made today, as the Tedeshan had, with any luck, found their second culture of allies and trading partners in this harsh world.
