The Terock, although rather their warlike history with their Western and Northern nomadic neighbours, had always been isolated from their former neighbours to the East, never engaging in any signifigant trade are raiding with them, to the point where almost all Terrock were unaware that there had ever been any human presence to the East. That is why, when Terrock settlers, cautious from the barbaric massacre of the last generation of Terrock to attempt to settle beyond sight of the Terrine river, travelled the the East, they were surprised to find the scattered ruins of crude villages dotted throughout the river valley there. Although some superstitious deemed these new Eastern lands to be of ill-fortune, most of the Terrock settlers dismissed these claims, saying that this was unimpeachable evidence of the Terrock deities inevitable victory over their former neighbours's deities in the Celestial Battlefield.
