Post Body

The expansion of the Tupai is a positive feedback loop. As more people leave for the frontier northwards people have more children in the south creating an even larger overpopulation problem leading to even more people leaving for the frontier.

There is another thing that comes out of this expansion: more people also require more food. Luckily, more people also means more people can grow food. And in this endeavour of producing enough food to supply the Tupain people, they discovered ways to grow several other local plants that are in the area. The plants first that are first to be to farmed by the Tupai were the ones similar to plants the Tupai already grow like wheat, and barley. Both being cereal grains very close to the buckwheat, millet, and rice that are regularly seen growing in the fields around villages. These two grains were only discovered when the Tupai expanded out of the Karrota floodplain and into the surrounding area which was their natural habitat.

The other plants that were discovered how to farm were quite harder than the grains, bananas leaves were already used in imu cooking and the fruit was a popular treat. Learning how to grow these plants was a massive boost to Tupain cooking.
