Misha, was a Vate Oba. Her husband died twelve years ago and since then she has been the oldest person in the city of Vate. This makes her, at the age of 74, the matriarch of her family and the leader of the city of Vate.

She had five child; Vopa, Fapa, Me-e, Neeno, and Va-o. On her 74th birthday she died of a disease, leaving her estate to her children. Her oldest child, Vop, gained possession of her large house (the largest building besides the longhouse in Vate) and 6 of her 14 boats (Two Mayan boats and 4 dugout canoes). Her other children must head out and live in their own houses which they've been working on since Oba Misha wrote her will 7 years ago.

All of Vopa's children and his wife will stay in Oba Misha's old house. Vopa will now become his family's patriarch as he is the oldest member of his family. He will join the other elders with his siblings to learn their ways. They well be taught the history of their people and how to gamble playing the elder's board games.
