Car payoff

Only debt I have is house and 19k car at 2.9%.
I have 10 mo living expenses saved, along with extra that I could pay off car.
Im struggling to write the 19k check. It’s getting 5.3 interest in vanguard federal money market.
I realize it would free up 400 a month, but I’m still struggling to part with the cash - am I being dumb.
Edit: tomorrow is the day I write the check
