Are the grand reopening coupons only redeemable at the grandly reopened location?

I have a coupon book from back in January, from my local store. The coupons say they are only redeemable at that location. There is another grand reopening I would like to go to, to get another book, but that isn’t feasible if the coupons are only redeemable at that store. Back when I got mine, some people were saying any store would take them. Does anyone know for sure? I would like to know if I should be planning a trip or not.
