I have recently recieved a Brugmansia arborea plant, which arrived in a pot that was, in my opinion, far too small. I bought a bigger pot to replant it, but as I began working on it I noticed the roots had grown through the holes at the bottom of the pot. They were still very thin, but they had managed to form a small network below the pot. As I have heard that metal offends the plant, I decided to try and just pull it up carefully, but some of the smaller roots still got torn. Now, I might be overthinking this, but I approach the whole thing with the plant spirit in mind. I don't know if causing it injury like this would displease it. I did it as carefully as I could, but apparently I couldn't manage not hurting the roots at all. Any of you who know her better, have I wronged it and how does it like to be handled?
