Some general tips:

- Your first picture should be your best one. Have it clearly show who you are (no group pics)

-Have 1-2 photos of you doing a hobby or having fun. Like at a concert, playing a sport, reading a book, whatever you are into

-Have a photo shoot with some friends. Take a bunch of photos of each other in various poses. You don’t need a professional camera, but it helps, all modern phones have great cameras.
