So, I went on a date a few weeks ago with this guy I met through a mutual friend. Everything seemed to be going well good conversation, lots of laughs, and a shared love for food. But by the end of the night, I wasn’t feeling that spark, and I honestly thought it was a one and done situation.
I texted him the next day, thanking him for a fun evening, and figured that was the last I’d hear from him. But then, a couple of days later, he reached out. He mentioned he had a great time but didn’t want to push anything and respected my vibe. We ended up chatting again, and long story short, we planned another date.
Fast forward to now, and we’re seeing each other regularly. I honestly didn’t expect things to turn around, but he’s made me rethink my approach to dating. Sometimes, you just need a little patience.
