I went on a date with this guy I met online, and we decided to try out a new Italian restaurant. Everything was going great until I confidently ordered the most complicated pasta dish on the menu, thinking I’d impress him with my adventurous palate. Fast forward to the moment the waiter brought out my meal, and it looked like a scene from a food horror movie spaghetti everywhere, sauce dripping, and what I can only describe as a pasta explosion on the table. Im pretty sure the guy across the room was taking bets on whether Id survive the first bite. I took a deep breath, attempted to twirl the spaghetti like a pro, and... lets just say I ended up wearing more sauce than I actually ate. My date couldnt stop laughing, and honestly, neither could I. We ended up sharing a plate of garlic bread instead, and it turned out to be the best first date ever.
